Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data TopVPS.com.br ("the site", "we") collects when you visit it, how that data is used and what your rights are. TopVPS.com.br is run from Brazil and follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD). If you live in a region with its own law, such as the GDPR in the European Union, you may also have the rights it grants.
1. Who we are
TopVPS.com.br is an independent website that compares VPS servers and publishes hosting guides. We do not sell servers: we recommend providers and, in some cases, earn a commission for referrals (see section 5).

2. Data we collect
You do not need an account to read the site. Only people who create a TopVPS Monitor account provide sign-up data (see section 5.1). The data we process is:
- Browsing data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of access. It is recorded automatically by our hosting server (access logs) for security and to keep the site running.
- Usage data and statistics: collected by Google Analytics, such as page views, visit duration, traffic source, device type and approximate city and country. We do not use this data to identify you personally.
- Cookies and similar identifiers: used by third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google AdSense and affiliate programs, as described below.
- Data you send us: if you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message, used only to reply.
- TopVPS Monitor data: if you create an account on the monitoring tool, we process your email address, your password (stored only in encrypted form) and information about the servers you add, described in section 5.1.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This site may use:
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most useful;
- Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) to show and measure ads;
- Affiliate cookies, set by the provider's website when you click a referral link, to record that the visit came from TopVPS.com.br;
- A session cookie for TopVPS Monitor, needed to keep you signed in. It is deleted when you close the browser or sign out;
- A language cookie (
lang), which remembers the language you read the site in so we don't redirect you again. It contains no personal data and expires after one year.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them does not stop you from using the site, but ads may become less relevant.
4. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, Google's analytics service, to measure traffic and improve our content. It records information such as the pages visited, where you came from, time on site and clicks on external links. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. You can prevent collection by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
4.1. Google AdSense and ads
We use Google AdSense to show ads. In particular:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.

5. Affiliate links
Some links on the site are affiliate links. When you click one and buy a service, the provider may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. The provider learns that you came from our site through a parameter in the link or its own cookie. From then on, your data is handled under the provider's privacy policy, which you should read on its website.
5.1. TopVPS Monitor
TopVPS Monitor is a free tool for tracking server performance. People who create an account give us:
- Account data: email address and password. The password is stored only as a cryptographic hash; not even we can read it.
- Server data: the name you give each server, the external check address (if you set one up) and the information sent by the installed agent: hostname, operating system, kernel version, number of cores, total memory and disk, uptime and CPU, memory, swap, disk, network and load usage.
The agent does not collect files, database contents, passwords, process lists or data about your server's users. We use this data only to show the dashboard, send the email alerts you enable and display the public status page, if you create one. The status page only shows the names you gave your servers, whether they are up and their availability.
Per-minute readings are kept for 2 days, hourly summaries for 90 days and external check results for 30 days. Accounts that were never confirmed and have no servers are deleted after 30 days. You can delete a server or your whole account at any time on the "My account" page; the data is deleted immediately.
6. What we use the data for
- Keeping the site running, secure and protected against abuse;
- Providing TopVPS Monitor to account holders: dashboard, charts, email alerts and status page;
- Understanding how the site is used and improving the content (statistics);
- Showing ads and measuring their performance;
- Recording affiliate referrals;
- Replying to messages you send us.
The legal bases are legitimate interest (operation and security of the site), consent (advertising cookies, where applicable), performance of a contract (the TopVPS Monitor service for account holders) and steps taken at your request (replies to your messages).
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by our hosting company (Hostinger), Google (Analytics and AdSense) and the affiliate program providers. We may also disclose data if required by law or court order.
8. How long we keep data
Access logs are kept for as long as needed for site security and to comply with Brazil's Internet Civil Framework (at least six months). Contact emails are kept while they are useful for support and then deleted. TopVPS Monitor retention periods are in section 5.1.
9. Your rights
Under the LGPD you can request confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent. Just write to contato@topvps.com.br. You can also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or with the data protection authority in your country.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated at any time. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force. If there is any difference between translations, the Portuguese version prevails.
